This two hour workshop takes teachers and aides through a series of activities that simulate having different aspects of a language disorder. Although fun, participants have the opportunity to truly experience the frustration and mental challenges that students with language disorders endure on a daily basis.
The outcome is a new perspective of the nature of language disorders, an understanding of why adverse behaviours develop and a heap of practical strategies to cater for students in the school setting.
