children who are learning sign language as part of their communication system.

children pick them up and start practising their signs. |

The words on the back can be used to build a sight vocabulary
(reading). Children with Down Syndrome often do best learning to read through
a whole word sight approach. These cards are brilliant for such reading
programs.
